Rating System

Whether I’m reviewing a bubble tea drink, dessert, or something else, I’ll be using a rating system that goes from 5 (best) to 0 (worst) with 0.5 intervals in between. Below is a general idea of what each rating means:

5 out of 5: Perfect! I wouldn’t change a thing about it. In fact, I could go for another one right now! This particular item stands out on the menu and it’s something I’d highly recommend.

4 out of 5: As close to perfection as you can get. With some very minor adjustments, it’d be even better. I’d recommend it for sure.

3 out of 5: It’s just “OK.” There’s nothing special about it but at the same time, it’s not bad – just not memorable. I may not go out of my way to get it again, but it’s still a solid choice.

2 out of 5: Not something I’d get again. There’s potential for greatness but whether it’s lacking flavour, imagination, or something else, it’s a lackluster menu item.

1 out of 5: Definitely not worth your money. It’s (slightly…maybe?) edible but that’s putting it mildly.

0 out of 5: Ouch. Skip it. Let’s pretend it’s not an option on the menu.
